Welcome to the Grainne Uaile Pub

The Grainne Uaile is a traditional family owned pub. Situated in the beautiful village of Newport overlooking Clew Bay, it is named after one of Irelands most famous women, the pirate Queen 'Grainne Uaile'. Many of her castles are in the local area – Rockfleet castle is closest to Newport and well worth a visit.
